Why it’s in the log
A textile plant from the 1950s, gutted and left with its bones showing, now filled with a hostel, a few cafés, a wine bar and a courtyard that fills at six. It is the closest Tbilisi has to a town square for people under forty.
At weekends it is busy with visitors; on a Tuesday evening it is the city talking to itself. Have the amber wine by the glass and let the evening happen.
