Granada sits at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, which keeps it cooler than the rest of Andalusia and gives it snow-capped views most Spanish cities don't have. The Albaicín's steep lanes hold most of the city's better bars and grills, a short climb from the centre but a different pace entirely.
