Luster
A municipality along the inner Sognefjord, glaciers and peaks closer than the coast.
Luster sits at the head of the Sognefjord, Norway's longest, with the Jostedalsbreen ice cap and its outlet glaciers within a short drive rather than a full day trip. It's a working farming district as much as a scenic one — orchards along the fjord's sheltered south-facing slopes, glacier walks and peaks starting where the flat ground runs out.
