Carmona

A walled Andalusian hill town twenty minutes from Seville, quiet enough that most visitors still skip it.

Carmona sits on a ridge above the Seville plain, walled since Roman times and built over by Moorish rulers who left an alcázar behind. Most day-trippers from Seville skip it entirely, which keeps the old town's streets closer to how locals actually use them.
