Glasgow
A city with more whisky on one shelf than most countries keep in stock, poured a few doors from Central Station.
Hope Street runs from Central Station up through the theatre district, and partway along it is a bar with a gantry holding over a thousand bottles, built up by three different sets of owners since the building first became a pub in 1867. Glasgow's whisky reputation usually gets attached to the distilleries a train ride away; the deepest single collection is actually sitting in the city centre.
