Bar Harbor
Acadia's gateway town empties out past its Main Street strip, where the harbor crowd still eats standing up.
Bar Harbor exists to funnel visitors into Acadia National Park, and Main Street is built for exactly that — but down toward the water, a few counters still sell fried clams and lobster rolls to lobstermen and locals rather than the crowds heading up the hill to the park.
