Arabian Tea House Restaurant & Cafe

Arabian Tea House sits inside a restored coral-stone house in Al Fahidi, the old Bastakiya quarter that survived the city's rebuild — wind-tower architecture, carved blue doors, a shaded inner courtyard that does most of the work of cooling the place down. It functions as both a café and a full Emirati breakfast spot, with tea service running most of the day.

The menu leans into regional staples: karak tea, chebab bread, balaleet, dates. Nothing about it is trying to be a hotel restaurant — the prices and the crowd are closer to a well-loved neighbourhood spot that happens to sit inside a heritage building.

Go for breakfast or a late-afternoon tea rather than dinner — the courtyard is at its best with the light coming through the wind tower, and mornings are less crowded than the tour-group hours around midday.
